As a Regional Housing Center, Polk CDC is your “one-stop-shop” for homeownership information and support in Polk County. Whether you are a current or prospective Polk County homeowner, we might offer a variety of programs to help you achieve your dream of owning your own home.

Counseling/Foreclosure Preventions

For current Polk County, Oregon homeowners, we also offer preliminary counseling for persons facing foreclosure or delinquency which includes referrals for loss mitigation services. Other Programs

In addition to classes and counseling, Polk CDC provides programs that can help bring affordable homeownership within reach for low to moderate income Polk County residents.


These programs include:


Individual Development Accounts (IDA): The Valley Individual Development Account (VIDA) collaborative helps Polk CDC provide prospective homeowners with a 3-to-1 match on savings towards a down-payment. Learn more on the Regional Housing Center section of our site.


Home Repair Loans: Polk CDC’s Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program provides low-interest loans to help qualified homeowners in Polk County homeowners make necessary repairs and renovations. Learn more in the Home Improvement Loan Program section of the website.
