The Mission

Polk Community Development Corporation (Polk CDC) is a private, non-profit community development corporation based in Dallas, Oregon.

Since 1989, the mission of Polk CDC has been to help Polk County residents improve their living circumstances through the provision of high quality, affordable rental housing and homeownership opportunities, related educational opportunities, and low-interest housing rehabilitation loans; and to assist local municipalities in their efforts to achieve community improvements, and economic revitalization through commercial façade improvement.

Home Improvement Loan Program

Building healthy communities starts with one home at a time. We have several Polk CDC’s home repair loan programs that can make major home repairs more affordable to eligible Polk County home owners. We can help Polk County families maintain the safety, quality, and affordability of their owner occupied homes.
