Support Housing for Persons with Special Needs

200-support-housing-ramp.jpgPolk CDC owns several properties that provide housing and services for special needs populations.  These populations include individuals and families who need a drug and alcohol free living environment and supportive services to deal with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or drug and alcohol dependencies.

200-support-housing-holding-hands.jpgPolk CDC partners with a variety of services organizations to provide the support and encouragement these individuals and families need to maintain stability and to achieve their life goals.  These partners include Polk County Mental Health and Addictions, the Polk County and Oregon Departments of Human Services, Oregon Mental Health Services, Dallas Drug Court, and a variety of local drug and alcohol treatment facilities.   Polk CDC also works with residential treatment facilities for persons with serious, persistent mental illness and with organizations—such as Partnerships in Community Living (PCL), Sunny Oaks, and others—which provide services for persons with developmental disabilities.
