About Polk CDC

Polk Community Development Corporation (Polk CDC) is a private, non-profit community development corporation based in Dallas, Oregon.

Since 1989, the mission of Polk Community Development Corporation has been to provide the low and moderate income residents of Polk County with opportunities for high-quality affordable housing supported by self-help programs that assist families and individuals in their efforts to achieve significant life goals.

Polk CDC:

  • Develops and manages high-quality affordable rental housing for low and moderate income families, senior citizens, and special needs populations
  • Provides low-interest housing rehabilitation loans to help low and moderate income homeowners make necessary home repairs
  • Helps Polk County residents purchase their first homes and build other financial and personal assets by providing educational programs, credit and homebuyer counseling, Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), and other resources
  • Works to enrich the lives of its residents by providing resident services including tenant mediation, resource and referral, asset-building opportunities, and youth programs
